Interview set with USDA F2S director
Worldwide Editing will interview Deborah Kane, national director of the USDA Farm to School Program (F2S), Feb. 19 in Athens, Ga. The interview is for a story about the role the Childhood Nutrition Act, which expires in September, and F2S are playing in reducing the childhood obesity epidemic in the United States. Mother Nature Network (MNN) (http://www.mnn.com), to which we frequently contribute, will publish the story.
Worldwide Editing is closely following the Childhood Nutrition Act as debate about the act and lobbying to increase funding for it ratchet up in Congress. Reducing childhood obesity and F2S are among the topics Worldwide Editing covers in its Environmental track.
